Dr. Atacan studied at the Middle East University in Ankara – Turkey, and joined the faculty of Suga University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1993. In 2004, Dr. Atacan became a professor at Istanbul Aiden University. Dr. Atacan traveled and lived in many countries practicing education and working at research centers, including Arab countries (Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Syria) and European countries (England, Germany, and Spain) as well as the United States of America, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
Dr. Atacan is a journalist and media person; he has worked as editor-in-chief since 1988 in the Economic Directory magazine and has made extensive media appearances on local and international television since 1974 until now. Dr. Atacan is distinguished for his different ideas and his sharp opinions from time to time.
Dr. Atacan has been an active member of the ruling Justice and Development Party since its founding in 2002, a member and founder of many local and international civil society organizations, published many articles in Turkish, Arabic, English, and Japanese, participated in delivering many lectures in seminars and academic and strategic meetings, prepared training courses in various media fields (press and media), public opinion management, political and community leadership, and public relations inside and outside Turkey, and the director of public relations for the Center for Strategic Studies. academic board
